Verification of Laser Code on Glass Vials

Area of Application

  • inspection of glass vials in order to verify the invisible laser code and to match it with the label to be applied
  • conformity control of the code and thus products match prior to labelling

Operation

  • the glass vials are fed otno the SVCodeTracker-S in hanging position
  • the glass vials are oriented through the shape of their flange
  • a camera station verifies the code and matches it with the label
  • without rotation of the product
  • a reject mechanism eliminates products with false codes
  • good glass vials are transferred to next process step either inline or manually
