Rotation Mill SG-200
Brief Overview
- In this type of milling, the product is sized by means of the movement of the stator. The product is pressed through a predefined opening.
- The SG can be used for powders with particle sizes ranging from a maximum of 1 cm to a minimum of 150 μm. Its output ranges from 1000 kg/h to 2000 kg/h. There are suitable sieve drums (wire mesh, perforated plate, and rasp) available for every application and every product.
- All parts in contact with the product are made of stainless steel and the plastic seals are made of FDA approved materials (EPDM, PTEF). The SG Line is thus suitable for use in the pharmaceutical, food, and fine chemicals industries.

Due to its modular construction, this sizing mill is ready to operate in no time.

Process
Process
The distinguishing features of this highly compact, manageable, multi-purpose mill are it's versatile and highly flexible usage options, as well as it's large, active, sieve surface. The advantage of the special sizing method with the rotating sieve drum and the stator is, that the centrifugal force in the product keeps the sieve openings from stopping up. The particle size, shape, and distribution are determined by the type of sieve opening, the circumferential speed of the sieve drum, and the rotor/sieve distance.
