Conical Sieve Mill ConiWitt-150
Brief Overview
- The ConiWitt-150 achieves a product flow rate of 1500 kg/h at a maximum speed of 2400 rpm. Optimal results, however, are obtained with flow rates of 10‑600 kg/h.
- Not only can the user install the rotor and sieve safely and quickly; but can also use the Tri-Clamp connections to detach the light-weight milling head (22 kg) without any help.
- The ConiWitt-150 can handle anything from R&D-size batches to kilogram laboratory batches, to smaller, commercial production batches.

Construction
Construction
The ConiWitt consists of the milling head, a conical sieve, and the rotor.
- Rotor equipped with 2 arms with square cross-sections for dry sizing
- Thanks to the "Error Proof System," an incorrect installation of the
sieve in the milling chamber is impossible
- Detector / safety switch
- Temperature probe built into the arm
- The shaft lip seal, which is installed underneath the shaft ring seal
prevents during the life of the unit, any contact with the FDA
certified gear fluid when replacing the shaft ring seal. The simple
construction of the milling chamber module facilitates maintenance
considerably. Even inexperienced personnel are thus able to
familiarize themselves with this conical sieve mill very quickly.
Process
Process
The ConiWitt conical sieve mill is ideal for the de-agglomeration as well as the sizing of wet and dry substances. Additionally applicable are low-density products. Through its rotary motion, the rotor implets the product to pass through the sieve, wherein milling takes place primarily by the shearing and fragmentation of the particles between the rotor and the sieve surface. Conical sieves with hole sizes ranging from 0.5 mm to 10 mm can be used in the ConiWitt.

Applications
Applications
The ConiWitt is well-suited for use in both industrial processes and lighter duty laboratory work. Thanks to it's modular design, the ConiWitt integrates readily within entire systems irregardless of the size. It functions as a stand-alone system, but can be integrated with facility into production complexes. The ConiWitt is available in the three construction sizes 150, 200, and 250, hence offering a wide range of cover for all application needs.
